For a decade I worked as a construction engineer on builds from $30M to $200M across Sydney. I ran inspections, managed subcontractors — including cleaners — and closed out the defect lists that got buildings ready for practical completion.
On site they called me "here comes trouble," because I'd always pick up something. I was the one who got buildings ready for final inspection.
I'm not on site full-time anymore, but I still walk through construction sites — now with my team of cleaners, delivering the same standard I used to inspect for. That standard doesn't switch off. It's what your office gets every clean, and it's what builders get on every site we work.
